The regular
season for Class AA baseball will consist of a ten team ND State League. Results of
league games will determine seeding
for the post-season.
The post-season plan for 2016 will be a ten team
State Class 'AA' Tournament scheduled for historic Jack Williams Stadium
in Fargo, ND July 26-31. Fargo Post 2 will be the tournament host.
The American Legion Central Plains Tournament is scheduled for Dakota Community Bank and Trust Field/Bismarck Municipal Ballpark in Bismarck, ND August 3-7.
Regular Season Tie-Breaker Criteria

First tie-breaker will be head to head competition between all teams involved in the tie.

The second tie-breaker will be runs allowed between all teams involved in the tie.

The third tie-breaker will be runs scored between all teams involved in the tie.

The fourth tie-breaker will be runs allowed in all league games.
-
The fifth tie-breaker will be runs scored in all league games.
-
If a tie still exists at this point, cut cards or flip a coin.
Grand Forks-Mandan Tie-Breaker (Grand Forks wins tie-breaker)

Criteria #1: Head-to-Head Competition
- Grand Forks and Mandan split double-header on June 8
- Game 1: Mandan def. Grand Forks 2-1
- Game 2: Grand Forks def. Mandan 8-1

Criteria #2: Runs allowed
- Grand Forks 3, Mandan 9
