2009: This is Leapaldt's second year with the Bismarck Governors. Squirrel will be the starting center fielder and will also see time on the mound.

Significant Athletic Honors: All-West Region and Class 'A' All-State Team selection - baseball 2009 ..... Pitcher-of-the-Year - CHS JV 2007 ..... 13-year-old Babe Ruth World Series All-Defensive Team selection at second base in 2004 ..... Significant Academic Honors: National Honor Society 2008-09 ..... World Series Experience: Tate was a member of the Bismarck 13-year-old Babe Ruth Baseball team that won the North Dakota 13-year-old State Championship, the Midwest Plains Regional Championship, and placed third at the 13-year-old Babe Ruth World Series in 2004 ..... Did You Know?: Tate was a player on Bismarck Babe Ruth baseball teams that won state championships at the 13-year-old (2004); 14-year-old (2005, 2006), and 15-year-old (2007) levels the last four years ..... Tate was able to play two years at the 14-year-old level when Babe Ruth changed the age cut-off date in 2006 ..... Tate loves hunting and fishing and Call of Duty 5.
