2008: This is Herold's first full year with the Bismarck Governors. He will see playing time in the infield and outfield and be part of the BGovs' pitching rotation.

 

2007: Played for the Bismarck Senators and Representatives Senior Babe Ruth Baseball teams.  The Reps won the North Dakota Senior Babe Ruth State Championship and placed third at the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament in Williston, ND. Herold also played in some non-conference games for the BGovs.

 

Off The Field: Just completed senior year at St. Mary's Central High School ..... son of John and Lori Herold ..... Other Sport Participation: Basketball (forward) ..... Significant Athletic Honors: Most Valuable Player - Bismarck Reps 2007 ..... Significant Academic Honors: Future Business Leaders of America President - junior and senior year.....Assistant Chaplain ..... World Series Experience: Jon was a member of the Bismarck 13-year-old Babe Ruth Baseball team that won the North Dakota 13-year-old State Championship, the Midwest Plains Regional Championship, and placed third at the 13-year-old Babe Ruth World Series in 2004.
   

College: Plans to attend Bismarck State College starting fall 2008 and play baseball for the Mystics.
